Speed Dating is an opportunity to meet people face to face in a safe and fun environment. The cost is only $10.00 and pre-registration is required by calling Lynda at 626-7777 or Suzanne at 623-0764. Spectrum Generations’s Speed dating event declares SUCCESS!!!
Speed dating is an event that allows individuals to meet face to face with several people in a comfortable, safe, and fun environment. This year “speed dating" was the new buzz at our 9th annual Lifestyle EXPO. We had 8 individuals participate, and two walked away together. A young man of 75 and his new friend of 78 spent a lovely afternoon getting to know each other. They shared stories, laughed, and scheduled a second date for the following morning. They attended the lovely brunch at Cloud 9, at the Senators with a gift certificate that was donated. Have we made a long-term match? Time will tell, but it really doesn’t matter. They had a great weekend, and made a new friend in each other. This is a new and exciting way to meet new friends.
