Partners In Caring . . . respite for caregivers

  Caregiver

Caregivers are special people.  A caregiver is a family member, friend, or neighbor who is taking care of someone else. Caregiving can be overwhelming and exhausting. Partners in Caring offers caregivers an opportunity to take time off and staying healthy.

Partners in Caring is a source of information and support for families who are caring for a loved one with memory loss, Alzheimer’s or any type of dementia.

Partners in Caring can help pay for several hours of in-home respite, allowing you the time to do other that need to be done. Some caregivers use respite time to:

        • rest
        • go shopping
        • for medical appointments
        • get a haircut
        • or maybe visit family or friends

Partners in Caring also offers help with the cost of up to two full weeks of overnight respite care at a residential care facility or at home.

Partners in Caring is supported by Federal Agency on Aging and State funds through the office of Elder Services.
