Older Americans Month - Celebrate Your Age:  Spectrum Generations May 2012 Mature Lifestyle cable TV show brings together two special guests to talk about the significance of older adult's experiences, wisdom, understanding, and "lessons learned."    Gerard Queally, President & CEO of Spectrum Generations, the Central Maine Area Agency on Aging, provides viewers with an understanding of the challenges associated with serving the vasting increasing aging and disabled population in Maine.  Katy Perry, writer, author and local celebrity in central Maine, provides viewers with colorful stories of her long life - 90 years young and still going strong.

Here Come Spring Allergies:  Spectrum Generations April 2012 Mature Lifestyle show brings you important information about spring allergy.  Edna Kakasenko did not grow up having allergies, so when she started to exhibit allergy symptoms a few years ago and got tied of being known as "that lady with the cough," she made an appointment with Dr. Scott Dyer, a Board Certified Allergist and Immunologist at MaineGeneral Medical Center.   Scott, our second guest, thinks of himself as an "allergy detective." Scott, an allergy sufferer since he was a child, personally knows how allergies impact quality of life and is vigilant in identifying and treating his patient's symptoms. With his help, Edna now is often asked, "aren't you that lady with the bad cough?"
